UPDATED VISITOR POLICY: GREEN PASS IS HERE!
To make your visit to our office easier, Penn Medicine has created the “Green Pass” system. Prior to your visit, you (and a visitor if applicable) can complete your COVID-19 screening questions on your mobile device. This will generate a “Green Pass” on your mobile phone which can be shown to the staff upon arrival to your appointment. The Green Pass will be valid for 72 hours; visits more than 72 hours beyond the “Green Pass” date will require a new Pass. One visitor is allowed to your appointment at our office when necessary and if space allows. Visitors must be 18 years of age or older and have a “Green Pass”. To get your Green Pass scan the QR code on the date of your visit or go to pennmedicine.org/prescreen on your mobile device before checking in to your appointment. Thank you for keeping the community safe from the spread of COVID-19.
Before Your Appointment
If you have a myPennMedicine account, we strongly recommend that you complete Pre Check-In prior to your appointment to reduce physical contact with staff and spend less time in the waiting room. Pre Check-In lets you complete your health care paperwork up to four days ahead of time, including confirming or changing your contact information, medications, allergies and current health issues. Just sign in to myPennMedicine, find your appointment in your To Do list, and select the Pre Check-In button.
If you do not have a myPennMedicine account, you can sign up here.
During Your Appointment
To protect the health and safety of you and our staff, we have made some changes to our visitor guidelines at each of Penn Medicine’s hospitals and outpatient facilities. These guidelines include the following.
- Requiring everyone to wear a face covering or mask and complete health screenings before entering the facility
- Only allowing visitors to accompany patients in exceptional circumstances
- Closing valet service at all Penn Medicine locations (Please note: Garage and outdoor parking, drop-offs, shuttle service and patient escorts are still available.)
- Maximizing physical distancing in waiting rooms and patient care areas
